Update for October 14th

They are suppose to tar paper the roof this weekend. The Plumbing inside should be roughed in this next week.

It is fun to see all the progress. We are getting really excited to get into it. Our target date is by Christmas! It looks like we will be doing the painting and flooring ourselves.

Update for October 13th

They cleared room for our front yard the day they also backfilled the house. It made a huge difference. I have some action shots of Tim White clearing the land and working on backfill some but then the battery ran out so you will have to see the October 14th update to see how it looked afterwards.

The cabinets are just some we are looking at getting. We haven't decided on any yet. Same with the front door. We are planning on tiling the countertops but probably a different color than shown. I got to walk on the stairs that go from the basement to the first floor today. That was neat! The view out our bedroom window is breathtaking!! Can't wait till fall! The chimney you see on the top floor is for the 2 fireplaces we will have. It was quite a sight to drive up and see they had added that. It seemed to tower over everything else! We plan to go tomorrow and look at flooring at a warehouse for www.internetfloors.com

Kathryn lost her first tooth September 11th. She was so proud!
