U3060- ASKING HIS INTENTIONS.
FROM PAINTING BY FLETCHER C. RANSOM.

On the bottom left section of the print itself, is his
signature and written copyright date.
Around the border of the print in black typed print is the words "Copyright
1906, by Fletcher C. Ransom.
The picture is of a young man and women seated on a couch, (looking very nervous, as her father is standing up on the floor looking down at them. And a woman, probably suppose to be her mother eavesdropping through the crack of a door. This is a neat marriage/wedding intent scene.
Also around the border is the title of the print"
U3060- ASKING HIS INTENTIONS. FROM PAINTING BY FLETCHER C. RANSOM.
Bottom right side of the border says
The Osborne CO. N.Y.
The actual print size is 7 1/2" x 11"
It looks like this was the top part of an old calendar at one
time. The print is on an old brown colored heavy cardboard, The very top of this
printed is
"ANDERSEN BROS. GENERAL MERCHANDISE BREWSTER, WASH
The print is in perfect condition, coloring is still good, the off white border is a little aged in color, but no rips or tears on the print itself. The cardboard type paper that it's attached to looks very old and antiqued.
