These art prints sanctioned by the Gerlach-Barklow Calendar Company are in beautiful condition, having been protected by the brochure cover. Each print measures 4¾ by 3 and 5/8 inches and is affixed only slightly at the top of each section of the month. Underneath each picture is a Gerlach-Barklow copyright symbol. Fletcher Ransom was educated at the Art Institute of Chicago and the Academy of Fine Arts in New York City. He illustrated for Colliers and Youth Companion. Besides being a famous magazine illustrator, Ransom was noted for his fine paintings of the episodes of Abe Lincoln's life.
