This is a very nice short story, The Widow Preble, by Clark B. Wakefield. It has nice illustrations by Fletcher C. Ransom. Page size approximately 7" x 10".  Any lines on the image are from my scanner.    From:  Harper's Magazine - July, 1905

Condition: Very good to fine with foxing. The page may have a crease at the bound edge.  The page has staple holes where staples were removed. There may also be binding residue (glue or darker paper) at the bound edge.  The pages may have small edge tears and/or small folds consistent with pages of this age.

1937 Chicago & Illinois Midland Railway Company Calendar
"Lincoln the Surveyor" by Fletcher Ransom

Big, beautiful calendar from the long series of Lincoln calendars distributed by the C&IM Railway. The title leaf is still attached to the calendar; it contains information about Abraham Lincoln as a surveyor.
The size is 25.5" by 29".

The color of the border in the first picture below is darker than the border really is. The actual color is closer to the green in the second picture below.

The condition is good. The calendar pad only has one sheet left--the December sheet, which includes smaller November 1937 and January 1938 calendars. The calendar page has a tear about half way down from the top in the middle of the page. There's no paper missing so the tear isn't very obvious when the page is held flat. There's some edge wear but the print is unaffected.
